Cal Ripken is a competitive baseball league that is a state sanctioned organization. This COMPETETIVE league gives children an opportunity to play teams from surrounding areas. The Recreation Department ASSISTS these leagues by supplying field time, equipment and umpires. Coaches have the ability to make cuts and limit playing time as they see fit. The Cal Ripken League will carry 12 kids per roster/team and up to 15 kids maximum. If you are interested in giving your child a more “recreational experience” please enroll them in the Little League program - information found on page 5. |
