Dear Dodgeville Area Businesses,

The Dodgeville Park and Recreation Department wishes to encourage your business to participate in our Summer Youth Sponsor Program. Thanks to local businesses, our summer programs are greatly enhanced for the youth of Dodgeville.  Each year these sports programs provide activities for several hundred children.  We had over 90 children participating in T-ball alone.  Last summer we registered 999 children in our summer offerings!

We offer one program that will help the community youth, our “T-shirt Program.”

We are asking local businesses for a $150.00 donation per team and with this donation, we purchase T-shirts with the sponsors name and/or logo printed on them for each child.   We had 28 sponsors for the 2007 season!

If you are interested in sponsoring one or more teams this summer, or if there is a special age group that you would like to sponsor, we will honor your request on a first come basis.  Please contact the Department at 930.5358 or mail in your sponsor’s fee to the above address by April 30, 2008.

All money obtained through this program will help off set the rising cost of the youth recreational programs.  Again, we want to thank you for all the support you give to the children of Dodgeville.  They look forward to the summer Park & Rec. leagues.
